The Willkommen Committee recently visited Rising Hope Counseling, LLC, to welcome their new provider, Janet Mason.  Earning her Masters in her early 50’s – while going through multiple surgeries and major life changes and upsets – Janet would say she came late to therapy.  That being said, she had been working to advocate for people for far longer before she decided she wanted to help people in a greater capacity.  She now specializes in women’s health issues such as trauma and relational ruptures, as well as occasional couple’s therapy and autism assessments.  She had been looking at starting her own practice, but when she found Rising Hope and met the people working there, she knew she had “finally come home.”
