The Willkommen Committee recently visited America’s Best Hearing to celebrate them as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce!  America’s Best Hearing was originally started in New Ulm as World of Sound, who later sold to Connect Hearing.  America’s Best Hearing has owned and operated here for approximately five years.  The office, now located at 101 S Broadway, is run by Samantha Filzen, a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, who has been with the company for about eight years, and Chelsey Byro, the patient care coordinator.  Although Samantha didn’t know what she wanted to do when she first started her schooling, when she was studying to be a speech language pathologist, she found that she really enjoyed working with the patients.  Now, she helps people with hearing aids, and makes impressions of ears for custom ear protection, and conducts ear cleaning and extractions.  She enjoys working for America’s Best Hearing because they help give her the tools to do the best for her patients.  America’s Best also accepts donations of used hearing aids and glasses that can go to helping those in need.
