The Willkommen Committee recently visited A.C.T. Dust Collectors to welcome them as a new member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce. A.C.T. Dust Collectors assembles and sells large air-cleaning units that maintain indoor air quality in many different kinds of industries, such as laser- and plasma-cutting, pharmaceutical, welding, metalworking, laboratories, and manufacturers. That manufacturing process pollutes the air, and A.C.T.’s units help mitigate that and keep the working environment safe for people working all over the country. A.C.T. Dust Collectors is located at 820 N Front Street here in New Ulm. They had been in Plymouth, but they relocated to be closer to Madelia, as many of the parts in their products are manufactured there. They have offices and representatives across the country, including Florida, Texas, Ohio, Iowa, and Washington.
