It was recently determined New Ulm is one of the top 10 “bleisure” travel destinations in the United States. What is bleisure, you might ask? It’s when travelers combine work travel and leisure travel in one trip. It’s becoming more popular for business people to arrive a couple days early, or stay a couple days late, when traveling for work. In fact, 6 out of 10 business trips are now ‘bleisure’ trips with vacation days added on, according to TravelWeek. We love this trend, and we’re honored to be listed as one of the Top 10 Bleisure Travel Destinations in the United States!
The report, which was published by the national CarRentals.com (a member of the Expedia family), mentions cities from California to New Hampshire. For travelers staying in Minneapolis, they recommend driving 98 miles south to New Ulm. They highlight a visit to Schell’s Brewery and a stay at Deutsche Strasse Bed & Breakfast. We recommend those as well! To plan your trip and learn what else there is to see and do in New Ulm, click here! Additional lodging options available here.
