Aside from the uniqueness and the attractions that make New Ulm a great destination, we are fortunate to have an excellent meeting facility in our Holiday Inn. Recently refurbished and decorated in an attractive German decor, they offer 126 rooms with a lovely on-site restaurant, full bar, swimming pool, hot tub and game room. This full-service facility makes meetings “hassle free” in all seasons.

They feature full meeting facilities with numerous break-out rooms, full banquet capabilities, meeting supplies and experienced and dedicated meeting planners. New Ulm has long been a host to national, state-wide, regional, and local meetings and conferences. We have on hand several testimonials from meeting planners who have said that their meetings were, “more successful and better attended due to New Ulm’s reputation for hospitality and...well, “fun”! With our great shopping, scenic setting, numerous attractions and more relaxed pace, we have found that conference attendees are eager to come to meetings simply because they’re being held in New Ulm.

None of this would mean a thing if we didn’t have the facilities to put on a superior meeting. The Holiday Inn is the premier facility with numerous break-out rooms, great banquet and dining capabilities, ample space for displays, all within a first-rate hotel. The award-winning, 126-room hotel also boasts on-site restaurant, bar with frequent entertainment and a pool and game room.

For large trade shows, we have a spacious, new Civic Center and Community Center. There are ample meeting rooms in many other venues around town so that mid-size to small meetings of many types can be capably handled.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau has a dedicated person to assist with planning and logistics and there are even funding sources to make your event sparkle!
