Value-Added Benefits of Membership
Chamber members are eligible for many free or low-cost services and ways to promote their businesses or organizations.
Do you want a Chamber presence at your grand opening, ground breaking, new location, or to welcome new management? A picture will appear in the Chamber Business Trends monthly newsletter, and your event will be mentioned on KNUJ Radio‘s Good News program.
All members have a free listing on our website. Use your login and password to change your business profile and contact/location information. Search alphabetically, by key word, or by type of business. Choose two category listings, or add more for $25 each.

Conference Room Rental
Need a place to hold your next meeting? The Chamber offers you their second-story conference room for your meeting needs between 8a.m. and 5p.m. Holds 12-15 people. Cost: free to members, $35 for non-members.
The Chamber offers a business list on labels. This value-priced list will be just what you need to customize your direct marketing needs. Cost: $37.50 for members, $107 for non-members.
The Chamber office has the ability to Broadcast e-mail to our Chamber members. If you would like to send an announcement concerning your business, contact us. Cost is $35 to members, $100 for non-members.
Hospitality Table Sponsorship
The Chamber offers refreshments to visitors and members when they come into the office. Be a hospitality table sponsor for a month and showcase your business for $35.
Ticket and Consignment Sales
The Chamber will sell tickets for Chamber-member events: pancake breakfasts, concerts, special dinners, etc., at no charge to the member. We also sell items on consignment for member organizations at a 20% commission.
The Chamber has three sections in a window available to our members to showcase their products or services. Priority is given to those members who do not have a downtown presence. Free to Chamber members on a first-come, first-served basis.
Business after Hours Sponsorships
Host a Business after Hours at your place of business or other location. Work with the Chamber to develop an invitation. Chamber provides notification to members, nametags and Willkommen Committee members to act as greeters. Business provides refreshments, door prizes, etc. Monthly opportunities provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Brochure Rack/Promotion Opportunities
The brochure rack at the Chamber has New Ulm Visitor Guides and information available on local
attractions, Chamber businesses, and several Minnesota towns and vacation areas. Chamber members may display their brochures free of charge in the brochure rack. Chamber members are listed in our Membership Directory, and many are also listed in a Relocation and Resource Guide that is available for people who are considering moving to New Ulm.
Chamber members also advertise in our annual Visitor Guide, available to visitors and by request. Members with products for sale are also listed in the special Shopping Section.
The Chamber refers Chamber members often and professionally through our website www.newulm.com, Chamber Membership Directory, and Office staff to those seeking information by phone or in person. Free to all Chamber members.
The Chamber allows members the use of their Bulk-Mail permit for postage savings on their pre-printed items. User must fill out a user form, the Chamber determines the postage charges due and signs the form, and the member writes the check to the post office. Not to be used for invoicing.
The Chamber sells about $200,000 in Chamber Dollars each year. These dollars are purchased by businesses and individuals to ensure that money is spent and circulated in New Ulm. Chamber Dollars can only be redeemed at Chamber-member businesses.
