Welcome To The Party Newcomers Event

Newcomers Event Seeking Sponsors

Complimenting New Ulm’s motto of “Germans Have More Fun”, the Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host Welcome to the Party: Turning Newcomers into Neighbors on Thursday, February 8th, from 5:30-7:30 pm at the New Ulm Country Club. This fourth annual event is targeted towards those New Ulm area residents who have moved to the community recently, and those who want to welcome newcomers to town.  The goal of the night is to help them network and learn more about their community.

The event committee is looking for area businesses or organizations to sponsor the event. Event sponsorships are $250 and include 2 admission tickets to the event.  This is a great way to gain exposure for your business/organization with newcomers to New Ulm.  $250 sponsors will be listed on the event website and facebook event page, as well as at the event.  Sponsors will also be able to put a promotional item in the swag bags handed out at the event or provide a door prize.

There is also a Promo Sponsorship level of $25 for chamber members or $50 for non-chamber members.  At this level, sponsors receive 1 tickets to the event and the opportunity to put a promotional item in the swag bags or provide a door prize.  This level will also be listed on signage at the event.

Sponsoring this event will help keep event ticket costs to just $10.  Tickets include meal, swag bag, and door prizes.  Help make sure people of all ages who are new to New Ulm don’t feel like “Auslanders” (German word for foreigners).

Sponsorship forms are available online here, or by contacting the Chamber of Commerce in person at 1 N Minnesota St., by email at chamber@newulm.com, or by phone at 507-233-4300.  Thank you for supporting this effort to make newcomers feel welcome in New Ulm!
