The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently stopped by Zinniel Utility Contracting to welcome them as new members! Terry Zinniel, originally from Sleepy Eye, began his directional drilling company in 1995 in Sleepy Eye.  In 2013 he moved the business to New Ulm and built the new building at 4 Somsen Street.  They do a lot of work with local utility companies installing electric and phone lines.  They can trench year-round, and can go under roads, lakes, and rivers.  Terry and his wife Amy both work at the company, and their two daughters, Kelsey and Keshia recently began working there as well.  Besides the family, they have 6 employees.  Terry says they get most of their work through their loyal customers and word-of-mouth.  Contact them at 507-359-8900 or online at www.zinnielutilitycontracting.com.
