Turner Hall has hired a new Executive Chef and Assistant General Manager, and the Willkommen Committee stopped by to welcome them!  Executive Chef Justin Curtiss is from Montevideo and worked as a mechanical engineer for 15 years before moving home to work at his dad’s truck stop.  He worked there for three years before the business was sold and Justin moved to New Ulm. Justin manages the kitchen staff, schedules, orders food and supplies, and, of course, creates the menu and cooks as well.  His specialty is anything homemade (sauces, gravy, soups, meatloaf).  Janell Chrobak, Assistant General Manager, is originally from Albertville and moved to Mankato to attend Mankato State University.  She earned her degree in Mass Communications, with a focus on special events and event coordination.  She worked in retail management and then as the assistant manager at the Holiday Inn in Mankato before coming to Turner Hall. Turner Hall employs about 55 part-time and 6 full-time employees.  Welcome, Justin and Janell!
