Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has a new pastor, and the Willkommen Committee stopped by to meet him and welcome him to town!  Dave Nissen is a Hutchinson native.  His father is a doctor there, and Dave went to Gustavus Adolphus College intending to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a doctor also. After a few classes, which he hated, Dave says he “finally listened to his calling” and enrolled at Luther Seminary in St. Paul.  He graduated last May and is glad to be in New Ulm and serving in the Southwestern Minnesota Synod, which is the synod he grew up in. Dave’s wife, who is from Crystal, MN, is starting as a 4th grade teacher at New Ulm Public Schools.  Welcome to the community!
