The Willkommen Committee welcomed a new pastor to Grace Community Church. Paul Burr already had a Masters in Engineering and an MBA when he decided to go to a seminary to become a pastor. In this new role, he has been a pastor in Morris, Hutchinson and Minnetonka prior to coming to New Ulm. He is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He and his wife, Carol, have 6 children. They were empty nesters, but a daughter who just finished college and an internship is moving here and will be seeking employment in the area. Paul and Carol are excited to be here. They both have German heritage so they will fit right in! Grace Community Church was founded in New Ulm in 2012. There are 150 members in their congregation but expect to grow to 170-200 in the fall/winter months. Their office is at 311 North Minnesota. They hold their services at the Community Center at 9 AM on Sundays.
