Wade and Veleda Cordes are the new owners at Ahrens Heating, and the Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped by to meet them.  Wade has been in the heating and a/c industry since 1986 and was previously an a/c technician.  The Cordes bought the company from Bruce Heuchert, who had owned it for more than 25 years.  Bruce is going to stay on with the company for a bit before fully retiring.  Ahrens does commercial as well as residential service.  They are currently working on the new Aldi store.  Wade plans to continue to update their services and products as technologies change.  They offer smart home technologies such as thermostats that can turn the temperature up or down based on the location of the homeowner’s cell phone.  Visit them at 1227 S Broadway or online at www.ahrensheating.com.
