Brent Krohn, representing the newest Chamber Member, Midwest Engineering, was the reason for a recent in-house Chamber Willkommen Committee visit.  Midwest Engineering is a small business consisting of Brent, who lives here in the New Ulm area, and his business partner in the Sioux Falls, SD area. Their niche and focus has been in residential and small commercial situations.  Brent described their services as “engineers make it (home, building or facility) stand up”.  Local clients have included St. Paul’s Lutheran School, Perkins and MVTL.   Brent noted that the trend has been for engineering firms to move towards the metro area, but he’s finding lots of work in the outstate areas.  Brent also farms with his family, has a special event DJ service with his brother and has been very involved with the New Ulm Young Professionals (HYPE) group.  Welcome Midwest Engineering and Brent to Chamber Membership!
